The two colleagues hospitalized in the Emergency Clinical Hospital "Floreasca" were transferred this morning to a specialized medical unit in Offenbach - Germany.
The two colleagues hospitalized in the Emergency Clinical Hospital "Floreasca" were transferred this morning to a specialized medical unit in Offenbach - Germany. With the support of the Romanian Air Force, the aircraft took off around 11.00 from Base 90 Otopeni Air Transport.
They are stable and still in an induced coma. During the flight, colleagues will be monitored by a medical team consisting of specialists from UPU-SMURD Bucharest and the Ministry of Defense.
We would like to thank the authorities for their involvement and support in identifying and completing the medical procedures for the transfer of injured colleagues to Germany in about 72 hours.
Through joint efforts, we managed to find quick solutions for our colleagues, to transfer them and to benefit from the best specialized treatments.
At the same time, we want to thank them for the dedication and efforts made by the medical staff in rescuing our colleagues, both those on the Petromidia platform, first aid and transfer crews, and medical staff from Constanţa County Hospital and Emergency Hospital "Floreasca ”.
Regarding our colleague hospitalized in Constanţa County Hospital, according to the specialists, his condition is good. The information is consistent with that stated to the company's representatives by the patient's family and physicians. We are with him and we will make sure that he will benefit from the best treatments during hospitalization, but also after discharge.
At the moment, our main concern is that the employees injured have the best treatment conditions. In parallel, we offer full support to the authorities in conducting the investigation at the Petromidia refinery.
