Certifications

Rompetrol Rafinare refineries are in line with BAT (Best Available Technologies) standards and comply with European environmental regulations as well as quality standards, environmental protection, health and safety at work.

The company is also in line with the requirements of the European RED II Directive to promote the use of energy from renewable sources, respectively the use of bio components in gasoline and diesel in percentages established by Romanian legislation -OUG 80/2018 (min.8% component in gasoline, respectively min 6.5 % diesel component).

Rompetrol Rafinare fuels are exclusively Euro 5 standards (> 10 ppm) and are aligned with the sustainability requirements in order to reduce CO2 emissions resulting from fuel combustion, due to the mixed use of components from renewable sources. .
