Announcement - Incident at Petromidia rafinery

Currently, Rompetrol Rafinare is carrying out the general turnaround of the Petromidia refinery. Activities and operations are stopped for maintenance, recertification and modernization of production units.

Against this background, this morning, there was an ignition in the Gasoline Hydrorefining (HB) installation. It was extinguished and there are no victims, the situation being under the control of the intervention forces, who are currently cooling the installation, according to specific procedures.

The local fire brigades benefited from the support of those from ISU Dobrogea.
