National Chemistry Contest supported by KMG International
“We believe quality education is one of the most important pillars of sustainable development. We have been focusing on educational projects for our community involvement strategy, as investing in future generations is a top priority for us. Performance can be fostered through fair competition; therefore, we are supporting the National Chemistry Contest, an event which will hopefully encourage students to pursue a career in the energy sector. “Alexey Golovin, VP, KMG International.
The official opening ceremony will take place on the 21st of March, at 18:00, at "Jean Constantin" Youth Educational Center in Constanta. Representatives of the Ministry of Education, Ovidius University, local authorities, Constanta County School Inspectorate and Rompetrol will be present at the event. On the 22nd and 23rd March, contest participants and 50 teachers will take part in a guided tour of the Petromidia Refinery.
"The 53rd edition of the National Chemistry Olympics will bring together 350 students passionate about the fascinating field of chemistry and determined to demonstrate that they are the best. Together with them, the teachers who guided them along this road are examples of perseverance and dedication without whom performance would not exist. We hope that this contest will contribute to their competitive spirit and the desire to continue their path to excellence. " Prof. Zoia-Gabriela Bucovală, General School Inspector, Constanţa County School Inspectorate.
The winners of the Contest will be awarded on 25th of March, receiving prizes from the organizers and special gifts from KMG International. Our support offered for this year’s edition of the contest will be used for the purchase of materials for the practical test, which takes place on March 24th.
