Rompetrol equips the medical unit in Corbu commune with high-performance equipment

Rompetrol in partnership with SMURD Foundation purchased and donated medical equipment for the health center in Corbu commune, Constanţa, the value of the investment amounting to 100,000 lei. The equipment - portable ultrasound, vital functions monitor, defibrillator, stretchers, oxygen concentrator, EKG devices, sterilizer - will serve the 6500 inhabitants of Luminiţa, Vadu and Corbu villages.

The medical office was recently rehabilitated and offers consultations through the services of 3 doctors.

In Constanţa county, Rompetrol supported the implementation of health and education projects - equipping Constanţa County Hospital with intensive care beds and all medical devices necessary for the care of patients at high standards, fuel to ensure the transport of medical staff to provide services to patients with cancer at their homes (through Dăruieşte Aripi Association), fuel for the Constanţa Ambulance Service, uniforms and training equipment for ISU Dobrogea, but also support for the online courses, by providing the necessary technical infrastructure (video projectors, laptops, microphones, headphones, internet) to 14 rural schools from the county, for the benefit of 3000 children.

Also, in partnership with the Foundation for SMURD, Rompetrol is carrying out an endowment project with equipment for the Năvodari Health Medical Center, worth 300,000 USD, a project that will be completed by the end of 2021.
