The Rompetrol Traineeship has reached its 24th edition

Today, KMG International (Rompetrol) launched the training program dedicated to technical students and graduates, a tradition of over 20 years through which the Group provides young specialists with the chance to have a career in the energy sector.

In total, 60 Rompetrol employees, who undertake the role of mentors, will ensure that they accumulate as much new information as possible, respectively cementing the information already learned during their studies. Our colleagues, specialists in their fields, will help the participants deepen and better understand the theoretical knowledge, as well as accompany them in the field, on the Petromidia Navodari, Vega Ploiesti and Rompetrol Well Services Ploiesti platform.

Most of the young people come from the Ovidius University of Constanta (33 participants), followed by those from the University of Oil and Gas Ploiesti (19 participants), the Maritime University of Constanta (13 participants), the Politehnica University of Bucharest (12 participants), the Technical University Gheorghe Asachi Iasi (9 participants), Naval Academy Mircea cel Batran Constanta (5 participants) and Stefan cel Mare University Suceava (one participant).
