Launched in 2023 with a new identity – Together We Grow – Rompetrol Traineeship, the program is dedicated to those who want to follow a career path in the energy field.

Since the beginning of August, the 100 trainees have been able to deepen their theoretical knowledge, acquired in the faculty's classrooms, but also to get practical skills, necessary for the start of their careers.

„This year, as well, we saw a lot of determination from our colleagues who took part in this program, something we got used to already. In each generation we discover new skills, new typologies and people who prove us that they can become our colleagues. This year's concept has everything integrated, from the Trainee to the Mentor, from the organization to the community, and we are glad that we were able to connect successfully with all those involved in the Traineeship program", said Raluca Stamate-Stefan, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Manager – KMG International (Rompetrol).

During those two months worked onsite, with the support of the 70 involved Mentors, the participants to the program underwent all practical modules in key points of the Petromidia refinery in Navodari and Vega refinery in Ploiesti, as well as in the areas of activity of Rompetrol Well Services and Rompetrol Energy.

This year 44 trainees out of 100 were from the Ovidius University of Constanta, 25 from the Oil and Gas University of Ploiesti, 14 from the Maritime University of Constanta, 11 from the Politehnica University of Bucharest, 5 from the „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi and one from The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.

Following the carried-out evaluations, a part of the Trainee will receive job offers from the entities, which are members of KMG International – Rompetrol, and the others are expected to join the program next year as well. The companies that opened their doors this year for the training of Trainees are Rompetrol Rafinare, Midia Marine Terminal, Rompetrol Quality Control, Rominserv, Rompetrol Well Services and Rompetrol Energy.

The Traineeship program, for the fourth year in a raw, included also the soft skills development.
