High-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant
The plant was started up in 1988 with an initial capacity of 60 kta/year, under MITSUI CHEMICALS license, and is a flexible technology for regular and bi-modal grades.
In 2007, the plant was upgraded with automated pallet-packaging line provided by Mollers (Germany).
In 2012, HDPE capacity was increased up to a production of 70 Kta/year, along with extending the product portfolio with three new grades for applications: Extrusion blow molding for large containers, extrusion of thin film and pipe (PE100).
For production, the plant is using Ziegler-Natta catalysts.
The product portfolio has homopolymers and copolymers grades with Propylene/1-Butene as co-monomers, covering a wide range of applications (injection, caps & closures, yarn, monofilament, raffia, blowing into bottles < 100L, blowing into bottles > 100 L, film, pipes).
- Injection: 1100J, 1300J, 2200J, 2208J, RBI8, RBI8U, RBI2
- Monofilament: 3300F, 3000S, 5000S, 5300F
- Blowing: 5205B, 5305B, 6205B, 8200B
- Film: 7000F; 7700F;RBF008
- Pipes: 7700M
- Byproducts: H-AS; HDPE WAX; HDPE Cake
