Petromidia Refinery, one of the most important refineries in the region and the largest profile unit in the country, is celebrating 45 years of activity, during which it evolved from a simple blueprint to a modern refinery capable of supporting the energy sector.

Rompetrol publishes its Sustainability Report 2023

Rompetrol has published the Group's Sustainability Report, providing a detailed analysis of the Group's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. The report details the activities of relevant companies across the entire value chain that fall under the sustainability reporting directive, including publicly listed companies such as Rompetrol Rafinare and Rompetrol Well Services, as well as other entities in Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, and the Republic of Moldova. The report is audited by EY.

State-of-the-art reactors installed at the Petromidia refinery

Rompetrol Rafinare, member company of the KMG International Group (Rompetrol), introduced two modern reactors into the operational flow of the Petromidia refinery, part of the Middle Distillate Hydrotreating (HDV) unit, which will reach optimal operational parameters in the shortest time possible.

Rompetrol Rafinare, member company of the KMG International Group (Rompetrol), has renewed the Hydrogen Power Plant (HPP) in the Petromidia refinery, through an investment of almost 10 million dollars.
