Coke is a carbon-rich solid final product resulting from refinery processes. Rompetrol produces coke for industrial and commercial applications. Another product obtained from refinery processes is petroleum sulfur. Main feedstock from refinery, crude oil, contains considerable amount of sulfur. In the refining processes sulfur is regarded as a contaminant and removed from all finished products cleaning them and making them in compliance with European norms. Sulfur removed is sold having a wide range of industrial application from vineyard industry Sulfuric acid or aluminum industry.

Petroleum sulphur is the raw material used in the manufacture of sulfuric acid, fertilizers in the agriculture, bitumen production, bleaching of pulp and paper industry, detergent base and others.
